3. The cookie notice banner
The banner shown on your first visit asks whether you accept this notice. Clicking either option writes the single local-storage entry above and nothing more — neither choice turns on any tracking, because none exists on this site to turn on. You can change your browser's stored choice at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings, which will show the banner again on your next visit.
4. Cloudflare and technical requests
CruxJoy uses Cloudflare as a content delivery network in front of its hosting server. Cloudflare's network processes basic request data (such as your IP address and general device information) to route traffic and protect the site from abuse; this happens at the network level for every request and does not depend on your cookie-notice choice. If Cloudflare's optional Web Analytics feature is active on this domain, it measures page views and performance metrics such as Core Web Vitals without placing a cookie in your browser to do so. 5. Controlling storage in your browser
Every modern browser lets you view and clear local storage and cookies for a specific site through its settings or developer tools. Clearing CruxJoy's stored data will reset your cookie-notice choice and any browser-level preference tied to this site, without affecting your use of any other website.

If what CruxJoy stores in your browser changes, this page will be updated to reflect it, along with a new effective date below.
